2026 Final Alejandro Davidovich Fokina defeated Ethan Quinn 7–6(4), 6–3 to claim the first ATP Tour title of his career at the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Championships — in his sixth tour-level final.

Altitude Mallorca sits at varying elevations across the island, but the Santa Ponsa Tennis Academy — where the tournament is played — lies at approximately 50 meters (164 feet) above sea level on the southwestern coast. This near sea-level elevation has no meaningful impact on ball speed or bounce, leaving conditions entirely in the hands of the Mediterranean weather and the grass surface.

Humidity Late June in Mallorca brings warm, dry Mediterranean summer conditions, with average temperatures between 18°C and 28°C (64°F–82°F). Humidity is moderate at around 55–65%, lower than northern European grass venues, which keeps the courts firm and fast. The warm, sunny conditions typical of the Balearic Islands make Mallorca one of the most pleasant and sun-drenched venues on the entire grass-court calendar — a stark contrast to the cool, damp conditions of Eastbourne or Nottingham the same week.

Outdoor Tournament The Mallorca Championships is an ATP 250 event played outdoors at the Santa Ponsa Tennis Academy on the southwestern coast of the island. It runs concurrently with the Eastbourne and Bad Homburg events, giving players a warm, Mediterranean alternative to the cooler British grass-court options in the same week. The tournament first launched in 2015 and has quickly established itself as one of the most visually stunning venues on the pre-Wimbledon grass swing.

Surface Mallorca’s grass plays among the fastest on the ATP calendar. The warm, dry Mediterranean climate bakes the courts firm and hard, producing a very low bounce and rapid ball speed through the air. Big servers and aggressive net-rushers thrive here more than at almost any other grass-court event, and serve-and-volley tactics are more viable in Mallorca than practically anywhere else on tour. The combination of sun, heat, and fast courts makes it one of the most distinctive and serve-dominated weeks of the entire season.
